You’ll need: one sheet of thick watercolor paper, one sheet of plain white or colored paper, watercolor paints + a brush + water, pencil, scissors, and a glue stick.
1
Fill your whole sheet of watercolor paper with color. Hint: The wet-on-wet watercolor technique works well here.
2
On a separate sheet of paper, draw half of a heart, then cut it out
3
Cut a thin strip from the outside of the edge of the heart. Continue cutting strips from the edge until there is just the small innermost part of the heart left.
4
Place the biggest strip on the right side of your dried painted paper. Line up the next biggest strip on the left side. Keep alternating strips until you’ve place them all. Then glue.
