“Talkin’ Bout a Revolution”
Solomon has been making music, puppets, art, and more with Arts For Life since he was three years old. When asked to be the featured young musician for our revival Heartbeats Session in Summer 2022, he knew immediately that his Heartbeat Session song would be Tracy Chapman’s “Talkin’ Bout a Revolution,” or, as he calls it “The Run, Run, Run Song” by “Chase Me Trapman.” Recording his all-time favorite was made all the more special with collaboration with his family friend Debrissa McKinney providing the vocals and his dad Nik Hope on the drums.
